Every Day Is A Fresh Start.
Happy Monday Everyone!
If you’re anything like me you may have had higher expectations for the past week with it being the start to a new year on a Monday. For me, the reality of going back to work, restocking my fridge and having to cook for myself again, and just getting back into a “normal” routine was a lot for me. Trying to add on big new year goals and implementing new habits looked a lot easier on social media than in reality.
So i’m here to remind you on this second Monday of the year that every single day is a fresh start. Each day when you wake up you get to decide what you do with your day. That can be big things like meal prepping for the week or trying out the newest workout class near you, or it can be the small things that have to get done to move the needle just a little like simply getting up with the first alarm so you have enough time to get ready for work without rushing and get in a good breakfast to start the day fueled.
Today I just want to remind you that you have full control over how you react to what the day brings you and some days it’s not going to be perfect but that’s when we pivot and just keep moving forward.
If you did set New Year goals/resolutions and you’re crushing it, keep going! And if you set those goals but already see yourself struggling, take a step back and break that goal down into small manageable steps. you don’t have to complete or perfect the goal in a week.
